A message from ms. farina

Hello Jaguar Families,

My name is Ana Farina, and it is with great pride that I write this letter of introduction to you.  This is my second year at Jepson, and I am looking forward to working with our Jaguar community to continue the great work and traditions that go on at our school.

I am a Bay Area native, born in San Francisco and raised in the city and Vallejo. A proud graduate of Vallejo High in 1999, I went on to UC San Diego to major in History and earn my Master’s and Social Science Teaching Credential from the University of San Francisco’s Graduate School of Education.

I began my educational career at Fairfield High School in FSUSD where I was the District Teacher of the Year in 2008. My family and I moved to Vacaville in 2013 and Vacaville High School became my new home away from home. It was during my years at Vaca High that I became the District Teacher of the Year in 2016 and the Solano County Teacher of the Year as well. 2020 marks my 15th year in education and I have served as a high school teacher, Student Activities Director, AVID Coordinator, coach, and now school administrator.

At Jepson, we believe our purpose is to prepare students for high school success and beyond.  We do this by offering a comprehensive program with rigorous academics, Career Tech exploration, and a thriving co-curricular program.  Our challenge is that we have only two years to accomplish this goal and we work hard to get the job done!  Our teachers are committed to working together to provide great instruction, and a powerful intervention system that supports students if they may struggle.

Jepson is a special place, with historic ties to our town and its citizens.  Many of our students are sons and daughters of Jepson graduates and many of our staff members are Jepson alumni.  To stay current on our information please consider following us on Facebook for updates on campus activities.  And, don't forget to sign up for School Loop for important emails and information about your student's academic progress.
